Join Our Team as a Urology Locum Tenens Physician

Are you a skilled Urologist seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference? We are currently seeking a dedicated Urologist to fill an immediate temporary need due to a provider medical leave. This essential role offers a chance to contribute to patient care while enjoying a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.

In this role, you will provide clinic and operating room coverage for a reputable facility, ensuring patients receive top-quality care during this critical period. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend requirements. The assignment requires active license and a clean professional history to secure temporary privileges. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with surgical procedures and clinic management, with availability starting in November or December. On-site presence of at least one week per month is necessary, with two weeks preferred, to maintain continuity of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Active Urology license in New Mexico
• Prior clinical and surgical experience in Urology
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Clean malpractice and professional history
• Availability to start in Nov or Dec

Nice to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with hospital protocols and electronic medical records
• Bilingual skills or additional language fluency
• Previous locum experience or working in similar settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Urology
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-residency
• Prior work in hospital or clinic settings

Other Requirements:

• Must possess current New Mexico medical license
• Must be able to provide clinic and surgical services without call duties
• Willingness to commit to at least one week per month, ideally two
• Availability starting in November or December
