Locum - Physician - General Medicine KY

Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with a valid Kentucky medical license
- Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or related fields
- Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Ability to perform non-treatment, interview-based examinations and document findings accurately
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with veterans’ health requirements and certification standards preferred
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams
- Background in disability evaluations or military medicine
- Additional certifications related to medical assessments
- Electronic health records management experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in general medicine or related specialties
- Prior experience with VA or government-related medical assessments is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work on an ongoing, PRN basis with flexibility to accept half-day or full-day shifts
- Candidate must own or have access to a suitable private office within a 50-mile radius of Paducah, KY
- Willingness to complete required training and onboarding promptly
- Availability to perform exams at least two days per week in the designated location
- No travel reimbursements outside the compensation package, and no bill rate considerations apply
