Are you a dedicated General Medicine physician seeking a flexible, meaningful opportunity to serve our nation's Veterans? VHS is actively looking for qualified providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across New Hampshire. This is an exceptional chance to contribute your expertise in a PRN capacity, working independently within your own office locations while supporting those who have served our country.

In this role, you will conduct interview-based assessments, including physical evaluations such as range of motion and muscle strength testing, without prescribing or providing treatment. The position offers the flexibility to choose between half-day and full-day shifts, with competitive flat-rate compensation and bonuses for your commitment and performance. Local candidates with their own office setup are encouraged to apply, with travel included in the pay rates.

Required Skills:

• State medical license and current certifications
• Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
• Experience with Compensation & Pension evaluations or similar assessments
• Strong interview skills and physical assessment capabilities
• Ability to work independently and adhere to established protocols

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in military or veteran healthcare settings
• Familiarity with the VA or government contractor procedures
• Additional certifications related to medical assessments or evaluations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general medicine or related fields
• Previous experience conducting non-treatment exams or assessments

Other Requirements:

• Must own and operate a private office within a 50-mile radius of assigned locations in Lincoln and Lebanon, NH
• Willingness to perform exams on a PRN basis, with the option for half or full days
• Quick onboarding and credentialing process
• No reimbursement for certifications or portal training prior to employment

Compensation:

• Hourly rate of $624.00 (Flat rates of $800 for half-day shifts, $1,600 for full days)
• One-time bonus of $650 upon completion of required training and first exams
• Paid sick time, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, and additional benefits including travel reimbursement where applicable
