Join Bon Secours/Mercy Health System in the vibrant city of Richmond, Virginia, as a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide specialized outpatient care within a well-established, reputable health system. Position Highlights:

• Type: Full-time or Part-time (guaranteed hours; no per diem)
• Location: Outpatient clinics in Richmond, VA, with coverage at two hospitals featuring Level II and Level III NICUs
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Responsibilities:
  • Management of outpatient maternal-fetal consultations and follow-up care
  • Limited inpatient procedures including cerclages (approximately 20-30 annually) and in-office Amniocentesis
  • Collaboration with a dedicated team of Nurse Practitioners and neonatologists
  • Participation in patient education, high-risk pregnancy management, and fetal surveillance
• Work Environment:
  • No deliveries required
  • Support from a 2+ physician MFM team offering consult-only services
  • Utilization of Viewpoint and EPIC electronic health record systems

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Minimum of 1 year of MFM experience preferred; new fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply
• Resident within the immediate Richmond area; relocation may be necessary
• Valid and current medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
• Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and team collaboration

Candidate Requirements:

• No long-distance commuters (greater than 1 hour)
• No candidates with lapsed certifications unless already renewed
• Not suitable for locum, 1099, or visa sponsorship candidates
• Not open to alternative shift schedules or part-time casual roles without guaranteed hours
