Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX

Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid Texas state medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current DEA and Texas medical licensure
- Proven experience managing obstetric emergencies and inpatient obstetric care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working as a hospitalist or in a locum capacity
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctorate (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice, preferably in a hospitalist setting
- Prior locum experience is advantageous but not required
Other Requirements:
- Available to start on or before 12/31/2025
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends
- Will comply with all hospital and state-specific protocols and standards
- Travel reimbursement and licensure support provided as applicable
