Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid Texas state medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Current DEA and Texas medical licensure
• Proven experience managing obstetric emergencies and inpatient obstetric care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working as a hospitalist or in a locum capacity
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctorate (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice, preferably in a hospitalist setting
• Prior locum experience is advantageous but not required

Other Requirements:

• Available to start on or before 12/31/2025
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends
• Will comply with all hospital and state-specific protocols and standards
• Travel reimbursement and licensure support provided as applicable
