Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas or ability to obtain one quickly
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB attention
- Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist roles or inpatient obstetric care
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and adapt swiftly to hospital protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in high-volume or tertiary care settings
- Certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with completion of residency in OB/GYN or Family Medicine
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience preferred but not mandatory
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on or around December 31, 2025
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
- Credentialing and licensure reimbursement opportunities where applicable
