We are seeking a dedicated Locum OB Hospitalist to deliver exceptional obstetric care at a leading hospital in Austin, TX. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric coverage, collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe, patient-centered care for moms and babies. Required Skills

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with active, unrestricted medical license in Texas or ability to obtain one
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care, including labor and delivery management
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying clinical situations

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Prior locum or temporary physician experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or other languages beneficial for diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience

• Completion of an accredited residency program in OB/GYN
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient obstetric experience
• Current ACLS and NRP certifications

Other Requirements

• Availability to start on 12/31/2025
• Ability to provide coverage as needed, with flexibility for shift scheduling
• Willingness to travel and stay in Austin for the duration of the assignment; reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and accommodations provided as applicable
