Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree with valid medical license to practice in Missouri
• Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including deliveries and emergency gyn care
• Ability to manage approximately 13+ patient encounters daily, including OB triage and unassigned gyn emergencies
• Proficiency with Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience covering hospital-employed CNMs and APCs
• Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases
• Prior experience in a hospitalist or coverage role
• Additional certifications such as NRP, BLS, and ACLS

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with board certification in OB/GYN
• Minimum of 2+ years of hospital-based obstetric practice preferred
• Prior locum or temporary coverage experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Must hold and maintain necessary state licensure and certifications
• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule including call and on-call duties
• Travel reimbursement and other applicable expenses covered as per policy
