Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid licensure to practice in Missouri
• Board certification or eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric specialization
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist duties, including deliveries and GYN emergencies
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Meditech Expanse preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with unassigned GYN emergencies and OB triage
• Familiarity with hospital-employed CNMs and APCs collaboration
• Experience in high-volume settings with about 13+ patient encounters daily
• Comfort with on-call duties and emergency response

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an OB Hospitalist or in similar obstetric care roles
• Current Missouri medical license or eligibility for expedited licensure
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Ability to cover hospital-employed CNMs and APCs
• Willingness to travel as needed for coverage
• Valid certifications and compliance with all state, federal, and local laws

Compensation for this position is competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $195.00. Benefits include weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel, and other applicable reimbursements.
