VHS is actively recruiting qualified providers to perform Compensation & Pension examinations and Separation Health Assessments. In this role, you will conduct interview-based assessments and physical evaluations within your own office location, supporting veterans' healthcare journeys with professionalism and compassion. Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Nevada
• Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
• Experience with compensation and pension exams preferred
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with veteran healthcare assessments
• Familiarity with medical documentation and reporting
• Certification in relevant medical disciplines

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Proven experience in general medicine or related fields
• Prior experience conducting C&P exams or similar assessments is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Own office location within specified radius of Pahrump, Gardnerville/Minden, or Ely, NV
• Ability to work ½ or 1-day shifts, 4-8 hours per session
• Willingness to complete onboarding and initial training
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; exams are interview and physical assessment-based
• Local candidates preferred; travel included in the pay rate
