Required Skills:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Virginia
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospitalist services
• Exceptional clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage emergent gyn and OB cases efficiently
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with OB hospitalist models or in high-volume delivery hospitals
• Knowledge of Level 3B NICU operations
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of hospitalist OB experience
• Prior work in a Level 3B NICU environment preferred

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 02/01/2026
• Commitment to providing emergent gyn care as needed
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital setting with established backup support from other OBs, GYNs, and ER physicians
• Meeting all state and federal licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
