Key Responsibilities:

• Provide OB triage, inpatient admissions, and delivery services for hospitalized patients.
• Offer 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
• Manage OB/GYN emergency department patients with a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate closely with community OBs, family practice physicians, and specialists to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in real-time communication regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries.
• Promote best practices to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proven experience in hospitalist or OB/GYN emergency care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with OB critical care or high-risk obstetrics.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Previous locum or hospitalist experience preferred.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active Ohio medical license or eligibility.
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric or hospitalist practice experience.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work varied shifts, including 24-hour coverage.
• Must comply with licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable.
• Willingness to participate in orientation and adhere to hospital policies.
