Overview:
As an Optometrist at our facility, you will provide comprehensive eye care services to a diverse patient population. You will work within a newly established clinic, ensuring high-quality examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Your expertise will directly impact the lives of patients, contributing to their overall well-being and quality of life. Required Skills:

• Valid and current Optometry License
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in eye care services
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish highly preferred
• Ability to travel to the clinic location; local candidates strongly preferred

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working in FQHC or hospital setting
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Additional certifications in specialty eye care services (e.g., contact lens fitting, ocular disease management)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• At least 2 years of professional experience providing comprehensive eye care services
• Previous experience in a fast-paced or hospital environment is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work on Wednesdays and Fridays; additional hours may be available at other locations
• Credentialing process may take 60-90 days
• Candidates must be able to attend one week of EMR training/shadowing prior to start
• Candidates should be prepared for a shift of 09:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday
