Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650 + provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time, board certified or board eligible obstetrician/gynecologist (Ob-Gyn) committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. This is a perfect opportunity for an OB-GYN seeking the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice.

Saint Alphonsus Maternity Services: Our hospital is a regional referral center with two Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, 24 hour in-house anesthesia coverage, a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, on-site gynecologic oncology, interventional radiology, pediatric surgery and pediatric gastroenterology, and the region's only ACS verified Level II Trauma Center. Additionally, the OB hospitalists have the privilege of caring for women seen in the resettled within the community through the Refugee Resettlement program.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists provide complete obstetric care and are dedicated to supporting your patients and their families through a complicated pregnancy, while providing state-of-the-art, high-quality perinatal care. They work in consultation with the primary obstetrician, as well obstetric hospitalists and neonatologists (as needed) to ensure the best care possible. Saint Alphonsus Maternal-Fetal Medicine has received special recognition and accreditation by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), which demonstrates their clinical excellence and commitment to high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services. Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides the highest level of care possible for infants. The NICU, which provides 24-hour, full-service specialty care, allows families from Boise and the surrounding areas in Idaho and eastern Oregon to receive expert treatment close to home. The NICU's team approach provides an atmosphere for parents and our expert staff to work together to achieve outcomes that exceed national benchmarks. Through special programs developed by the neonatologists and NICU staff, the Saint Alphonsus NICU length-of-stay and complication rates are significantly lower than the national average.
