President, Sanford Research

The President is responsible for:

• Representing research across the Sanford Health enterprise and engaging with leadership, physicians, scientists, key stakeholders, external partners, academic medical centers and local, state and federal partners.
• Promoting cooperation, collaboration and integration throughout the Sanford Health enterprise.
• Leading the development of current and long-range objectives, plans and policies, subject to approval by the Board of Trustees and executive leadership.
• Overseeing the adequacy and soundness of the research funding structure and making recommendations as needed or directed.
• Championing the adoption of new tools and techniques for interpreting and validating research
