Mercy Breast Surgery in Joplin, Missouri, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Breast Surgeon to join our growing practice. This is a 100% Breast Surgery position with no general surgery or ER call, offering a quick ramp-up period and the ability to practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Practice Highlights

• 100% Breast Surgery – no general surgery or ER call
• Must be Breast Fellowship trained
• Practice at one location: Mercy Hospital Joplin, with optional outreach
• Work in a collegial environment alongside Medical Oncology, Breast Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Infusion Therapy, PET/CT, Social Work, Nutrition, Chaplaincy, Dieticians, Cancer-dedicated research RNs, and support groups
• Fully accredited by the Commission on Cancer
• Plastic Surgery available for immediate reconstruction
• Very limited fellowship-trained breast surgeons in the region – high demand and quick ramp-up
• EMR: Epic
• Teaching opportunities with stipends available

Compensation & Benefits

• $460,000 income guarantee plus $25,000 recruitment incentives
