Banner Health and the Faculty team at North Colorado Family Medicine (NCFM) are pleased to announce an opening for a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Pediatrician to join their fully accredited program in Greeley, Colorado.

Training Resident physicians since 1974, NCFM is a community-based, unopposed residency program providing resident physicians with unparalleled, full-spectrum training opportunities. NCFM’s graduates are able to take advantage of this training which prepares them for practice in any setting, particularly under-resourced areas. About 60% of NCFM graduates locate in rural areas, with 70% continuing to provide inpatient pediatrics as part of their practice. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of 18 faculty members in a Family Medicine training program that is nationally recognized as one of the finest in the nation.

Position Details:

  • 0.4 FTE
  • Deliver patient care to a diverse community.
  • Serve as a mentor and teach medical students and residents
  • Engage in scholarly activities
  • 16 hours/week of inpatient coverage with flexible hours
  • Full hospital resources at a Level II Trauma Center

Key Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Teaching experience preferred; however, we are focused on the right fit including new graduates
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment

Banner Health offers a generous salary and recruitment incentives including:

  • Annual Salary: $76,000 - $88,000 (commensurate w/ experience)
  • Additional compensation for Medical Director responsibilities

NCFM is affiliated with North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) a Level II Trauma (ACS Trauma Verification) regional tertiary medical center serving patients from a four-state region (northeastern Colorado, western Nebraska, southeastern Wyoming, and western Kansas) and includes a Level III Nursery and a full complement of sub-specialties, 24-hour 16-bed ICU with EICU support, a state-of-the-art hybrid OR w/IVUS, and rapid response teams. NCMC provides air medical transport (North Colorado Med EVac) in northern Colorado.
