Job Description

Seeking a Chief of Anesthesia to join an incredible team in West Palm Beach-17 weeks off plus Start Date Bonus! Highlights of this opportunity includes: -Start Date Bonus -Anesthesia Care team is comprised of 19 physicians and 27 CRNA's -17 weeks off annually -No OB, Pediatrics or Trauma -Annual Case count approximately 18,500 -Dedicated Cardiac Team -No in-house call. Physicians rotate back up call, call back is rar -Cardiac capable desired but not required In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Chief position includes, but is not limited to, the following non-clinical duties: -Developing a solid, qualified care team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs and CAAs -Supervising departmental staff and providing ongoing evaluation of anesthesia skills and job performance. -Fostering a positive collaborative work environment and managing relationships with surgeons, members of the medical staff, administration, OR leadership as well as the anesthesia team. -Assisting the facility and providing leadership in the management of Perioperative Services. -Establishing and maintaining policies and procedures pertinent to the conduct of anesthesia care, including follow up care and integrating best practices and standards of clinical care into departmental practice.
