Liberty Hospital, now part of The University of Kansas Health System, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified neurohospitalist to join its dynamic team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care. Candidates fresh out of training as well as experienced candidates are welcome to apply.  
 
In this role, candidates will diagnose, treat, and manage neurology patients in an inpatient care setting. Candidates will provide care and consultative services of acute neurological disorders. Schedules are structured with a "7 days on/& days off" model with the option for additional shifts per month or outpatient clinic for additional compensation.

Job Duties: 

  • Provide care for neurology patients in the inpatient setting. 
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage these patients in the hospital and on call. 
  • Participate in on-call coverage. 

Required Qualifications:

  • MD/DO
  • Eligible for licensure in Missouri
  • Neurology Residency training
  • Board-Eligible or Certified in Neurology
