KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.

Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.

About the facility

Our Health System is comprised of a District Hospital, a 20-bed critical access hospital and three rural health clinics. Our skilled medical professionals offer patient-focused care in a variety of settings. Our team will support patients through their entire healthcare journey, from initial consultation to post-treatment follow-ups. We strive to provide the most convenient and efficient healthcare experience, meeting all needs and exceeding all expectations.

Our Community

Our community serves as the county seat and is a great place to raise a family: with an exceptional school system that has a successful academic, sports, and fine arts programs. Both the city and the county were named for General George C. Meade, the Union commander at Gettysburg. Located in the rugged southwest region of the state, our State Park boasts an 80-acre lake and 440-acre park. Meade provides the opportunity to get away from the crowds in a sparsely populated region of the state. We are located less than a 45-minute drive to concerts, indoor professional football, restaurants and other city amenities.
