Position Summary

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Non-Surgical Orthopedic or Sports Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate excels at diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries, chronic conditions, and sports-related issues without surgical intervention, and thrives in a collaborative orthopedic environment.

This role is heavily clinical, procedure-friendly, and patient-facing — ideal for a physician who enjoys diagnostics, rehab planning, injections, ultrasound-guided procedures, and movement-based orthopedic medicine.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Evaluation

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative disorders, sprains/strains, tendinopathies, arthritis, and sports-related conditions.

  • Order, interpret, and integrate diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) into treatment planning.

  • Develop conservative care plans including PT protocols, bracing, meds, activity modification, and injury prevention strategies.

Procedures

  • Perform in-office procedures such as:

    • Corticosteroid injections

    • Hyaluronic acid injections

    • Ultrasound-guided injections

    • PRP and biologics (if applicable)

    • Tendon/soft-tissue procedures

    • Joint aspirations

  • Support evaluation and triage for patients who may require surgical referral.

Sports & Wellness Focus

  • Treat athletes of all ages and activity levels — from weekend warriors to competitive athletes.

  • Provide return-to-play planning and functional recovery guidance.

  • Collaborate with physical therapy to optimize outcomes.

Collaborative Care

  • Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, PAs, PTs, and pain specialists to coordinate comprehensive care.

  • Provide follow-up management for pre- and post-surgical patients as appropriate.

Administrative & Quality

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

  • Participate in quality improvement, clinical guideline development, and workflow optimization.

  • Contribute to patient education and practice growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.

  • Board Certified/Eligible in PM&R, Family Medicine with Sports Medicine Fellowship, or Non-Surgical Orthopedics.

  • Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).

  • Strong diagnostic and procedural skills.

  • Competency with ultrasound-guided procedures strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in high-volume orthopedic or sports clinics.

  • Interest in MSK ultrasound, PRP/biologics, and emerging orthopedic technologies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-specialty group.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary + productivity incentives.

  • Strong referral base from internal PT, orthopedic surgeons, and high patient volume.

  • Full benefits package
