Required Skills:
- Board-certified or eligible in Radiology
- Proficiency in interpreting XR, CT, MRI, US, and NM modalities
- Ability to perform infant BE exams and light IR procedures including biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Sub-specialty experience in areas such as IR or pediatric radiology
- Prior experience in a hospital environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state medical license in West Virginia or willingness to obtain
- At least 2 years of post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology
- Prior locum or temporary radiology assignment experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to perform infant BE exams
- Ability to work onsite during designated shift hours (Days, M-F, 8 am - 5 pm)
- Certification in American Board of Radiology
- Must have current malpractice insurance that covers radiology procedures
- Must comply with all hospital, state, and federal regulations; travel and licensure reimbursements available
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $19.50
- Estimated Daily Volume: 90-100 cases per 8-hour shift
- Setting: Onsite hospital environment
- Modalities: XR, CT, MRI, US, NM
- Case Mix: Fluoroscopy, light IR procedures, biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, arthrograms
