Locum - Physician - Radiology Charleston, WV

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Physician specializing in Radiology to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services in a busy hospital setting. Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid state medical license in West Virginia.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
• Proficiency in interpreting XR, CT, MR, US, and NM modalities.
• Experience performing infant BE exams and fluoro procedures.
• Ability to perform light IR procedures including biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms.
• Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, onsite hospital environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in a hospital setting with high-volume caseloads.
• Knowledge of advanced interventional radiology procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years' experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Current West Virginia medical license and DEA registration.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to perform infant BE exams.
• Ability to accommodate the scheduled start date of 03/06/2026.
• References and background checks as required.
• Work onsite at a hospital facility in Charleston, WV, with travel and certification reimbursements when applicable.

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $19.50, with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage (W-2), paid sick leave, and a robust referral bonus program. Additional pay categories include holiday pay, overtime, and holiday overtime, along with reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses.
