Vascular Neurology

Maximus Federal is seeking a Vascular Neurologist to join the Medical Consultant panel to be an Expert Medical Reviewer to conduct medical judgment appeals. 

California Department of Managed Healthcare Independent Medical Reviewer Project is medical professional shall be a clinician expert in the treatment of the enrollee’s medical condition and knowledgeable about the proposed treatment though recent or current actual clinical experience treating patients with similar medical condition(s).

Key Requirements:

• Board-certified: Neurology and Vascular Neurology for more than 5 years.
• Direct Patient Care: Must be actively engaged in providing direct patient care for more than 20 hours a month.
• Work Arrangement: This is a 1099 (at-will) role for both parties.
