Opportunity Overview

Baptist Health of Jacksonville, Florida’s leading and most preferred health system, is seeking a Sports Medicine–trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic program serving Northeast Florida. This opportunity is based at our North Campus and offers a strong outpatient focus with dedicated OR block time and access to a robust referral network.

This position is ideal for a surgeon seeking high clinical volume, strong institutional support, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment along Florida’s Atlantic coast.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate orthopedic and sports medicine care

• Perform surgical and non-surgical orthopedic sports medicine procedures

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Contribute to the continued growth and development of orthopedic services

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

• Fellowship training in Sports Medicine or Adult Reconstructive Surgery

• Active or eligible unrestricted medical license

• BLS certification preferred

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Experience

• Completion of orthopedic surgery residency (5–7 years)
