Family Medicine Hospitalist for Behavioral Wellness exams in Orlando

Orlando Health Physician Associates is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to perform physical exams of admitted psychiatric patients who have been medically cleared by the ED. Continue to manage any physical needs by patients such as diabetes, HTN, GI distress etc. daily.

Practice Highlights:

• Physician-led, professionally managed healthcare system.
• Commitment to patient care: Physicians should demonstrate a genuine dedication to delivering high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes.
• Schedule – 7 days on 7 days off, 7 am to 7 pm.
• No after-hours call. Call is managed by the psychiatric team.
• No procedures expected.
• Volume is typically 14-16 low acuity admissions per day. Follow up visits for patients are at the request of a psychiatrist team only as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine or American Osteopathic Association
• Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
• MD/DO

Not a J-1 Visa position.
