The VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, Omaha, Nebraska is actively recruiting to fill a Board Certified Chief of Rehabilitation and Extended Care physician position in the specialty of Geriatrics. You will report to the Chief of Staff and are responsible for administrating all aspects of the Rehabilitation and Extended Care (REC) service line. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, The Chief of REC services will be responsible for providing direct patient care as well as teaching and resident supervision within the Department of Rehabilitation and Extended Care. The Omaha Division is an acute, highly affiliated, tertiary care facility. The Omaha facility provides inpatient, medical, surgical and psychiatric care in addition to its ambulatory care services; the Omaha Division is also home to major clinical research programs.

Work Schedule: Full-time. Night and weekend hours are not currently scheduled, however, full-time physicians are employed on a 24/7 basis
