Embark on a rewarding locum opportunity providing pediatric anesthesiology coverage at a renowned Level I Trauma Center. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesiology services for pediatric to adult patients in a hospital-based operating room environment.
• Supervise CRNAs in a care team model, combining solo practice with clinical oversight.
• Manage approximately 50-60 surgical cases daily across multiple specialties.
• Collaborate with a team of 22 anesthesiologists, RNs, techs, surgeons, and APPs in a collegial environment.
• Cover shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no call obligations.
• Support anesthesia care across all age groups, from neonatal to adult patients.

Required Skills:

• Valid and current medical license and DEA certification.
• Proven experience in pediatric anesthesia or a strong willingness to adapt.
• Ability to supervise CRNAs as needed.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle a high-volume surgical schedule efficiently.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Prior experience working in a Level I trauma center.
• Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice, ideally in a hospital setting.
• Experience with supervision of anesthesia providers.

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing requirements include submission of DOB, SSN, licenses, DEA, CSR, life certifications, and a CAQH login.
• Current home address, cell phone number, and location details needed at acceptance.
• Immediate fingerprinting and credentialing process post-acceptance.
• Travel reimbursements include mileage, rental car, hotel, and flight expenses, adhering to facility policies.
• No hourly pay rate specified; competitive pay packages offered.
