About the Role
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Cleveland, Tennessee, is seeking a PM&R Medical Director for our brand-new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Cleveland, TN.
The Medical Director will:
- Oversee program quality and clinical care delivery
- Partner with the CEO to position the hospital as the region’s rehab leader
- Build relationships with referring providers and community specialists
- Establish a visible, approachable presence with patients, families, and staff
- Be compensated with a Medical Director stipend in addition to clinical income
Practice Model
- Independent private practice model (retain 100% of own billing/collections)
- Inpatient caseload of 15–20 medically complex patients
- Option to add outpatient rehabilitation practice
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Hospitalists cover nights & weekends
- High income potential + Medical Director stipend
