Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center is a place that cultivates an environment of respect and support alongside other exceptional healthcare professionals. It’s also a place where you can grow as a person, living the life you want to live with more time for family and friends. Because we’re a small community hospital, there are opportunities for leadership where your ideas and voice are heard and put into practice. Our focus is on providing patient-centered care and wellness, so you can truly get to know your patients and the community you serve. It is our goal to provide you with the support you need to thrive. Mt Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, VT, which includes our Ottauquechee Health Center in Woodstock, is a member of Dartmouth Health, which allows our staff access to resources and opportunities of growth as a benefit of being part of a larger health system. You may have a place on our close-knit team of skilled, committed professionals. Here, we work in unison, using advanced technology and specialty care to transform the lives of our patients. Far across the Northeast, people depend on the award-winning excellence provided by MAHHC. Living in the Upper Valley The “Birthplace of Vermont,” where the state constitution was signed in 1787, Windsor is a historic community filled with spacious homes along quiet streets. A former machine tool hub in the 19th and 20th centuries (visit the American Precision Museum to learn more), today Windsor is home to Harpoon Brewery, Simon Pearce Glass Blowing, and numerous manufacturers, cheese makers, dairies and other businesses. Outdoor Recreation Everywhere you turn in the Upper Valley, outdoor activities abound. Mt. Ascutney State Park is just a short drive from Windsor, with campgrounds and trails up New England’s tallest freestanding mountain. The area is home to numerous golf courses, ski resorts, waterways and more. Arts and Culture A vibrant arts scene enriches life in the Upper Valley, with studios and galleries across the region, concerts and craft shows, and the Saint-Gaudens National Historical Site just across the country’s longest wooden covered bridge to Cornish, New Hampshire. Family Friendly The schools of the towns of the Upper Valley and Connecticut River Valley are well supported by their individual communities. New England’s four seasons provide a backdrop for pursuing a wide assortment of sports for children and young adults, from soccer, football and field hockey to downhill and cross-country skiing, skating, and ice hockey; from basketball and lacrosse to track and field and baseball. There are also a number of excellent private schools, such as Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, NH, Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, NH, Crossroads Academy in Lyme, NH, Mid Vermont Christian School in Quechee, VT, and Thetford Academy at the height of Thetford Hill in Thetford, VT. Qualifications
  • BC/BE Physiatry Residency trained; additional fellowship training welcomed as well
  • Experience and interest in musculoskeletal (MSK) care
  • Additional experience in EMGs and Trigger Points would be preferred but not required
  • Must obtain or maintain a VT and NH Medical License.
Dartmouth Health is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
