Why This Role is Different

At Anovia Health, we’re a physician-led, team-based, independent direct primary care provider that puts patients and physicians first.

Our mission is simple: give doctors the time, support, and independence to deliver quality care, and give patients access to care that’s meaningful, personal, and effective.
No crushing patient panels. No after-hours charting. No bureaucracy getting in the way of why you became a doctor in the first place.

What to look forward to:

  • Comprehensive health benefits
  • PTO
  • CME
  • 401(k) with match
  • Short and long-term disability
  • Profit Sharing
  • Potential ownership interests for leadership positions
  • Relocation support may be offered for qualified candidates

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor your care team, including APCs and nurses, providing guidance while letting them do their best work.
  • Serve as the first point of referral for your APCs and perform regular chart reviews, collaborating frequently to determine the best care strategies.
  • Conduct physical exams to evaluate health and diagnose conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging.
  • Develop, initiate, and adjust treatment plans tailored to each patient.
  • Prescribe and dispense medications.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate electronic medical records—done efficiently with built-in time, without worrying about after-hours catch-up.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families on health problems, treatment plans, home care, and preventive strategies.
  • Request consultations or referrals with other providers as needed.
  • Stay up to date on the latest medical research and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement and supporting research projects.

Bottom line: You’ll get to practice medicine the way you imagined—patient-focused, impactful, and supported by a team that has your back.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communicator with patients and medical colleagues
  • Confident leader who stays calm under pressure and can guide a care team effectively
  • Sharp analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions

Perks That Actually Matter

  • Charting done on time – built-in support so evenings and weekends stay free
  • True independence with team support – lead your care team without micromanagement
  • Mentorship opportunities – shape the culture and growth of your team
  • A culture that values your expertise and time – respect for work-life balance, physician autonomy, and patient-centered care
