What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor your care team, including APCs and nurses, providing guidance while letting them do their best work.
- Serve as the first point of referral for your APCs and perform regular chart reviews, collaborating frequently to determine the best care strategies.
- Conduct physical exams to evaluate health and diagnose conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging.
- Develop, initiate, and adjust treatment plans tailored to each patient.
- Prescribe and dispense medications.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate electronic medical records—done efficiently with built-in time, without worrying about after-hours catch-up.
- Educate and counsel patients and families on health problems, treatment plans, home care, and preventive strategies.
- Request consultations or referrals with other providers as needed.
- Stay up to date on the latest medical research and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement and supporting research projects.

What We’re Looking For
- Board-Certified Family Practice physician
- Licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Compassionate, personable, and genuinely invested in patient care
- Strong communicator with patients and medical colleagues
- Confident leader who stays calm under pressure and can guide a care team effectively
- Sharp analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions
