Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• State medical license and board certification in Gastroenterology
• Proven expertise in performing and interpreting upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, ERCP procedures
• Strong clinical skills with ability to manage complex and non-compliant patient populations
• Superior communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with EMR systems (TBD)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures and moderate complexity ERCP
• Prior experience in a similar clinical setting
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling and call responsibilities
• Bilingual abilities to enhance patient engagement

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree with fellowship in Gastroenterology
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting
• Prior procedural experience with a high volume of cases

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing and license enrollment estimated at approximately 3 months
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Shared call responsibilities, with details to be confirmed
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Willingness to support a multidisciplinary team, including APPs and ancillary staff
• Flexibility regarding on-site or off-site call duties
