Required Skills

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Proven experience in performing upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, ERCP (moderate complexity)
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage a diverse patient population with kindness and professionalism
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR); specific system to be determined

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with additional advanced procedures such as EUS
• Prior work in high-volume or complex clinical settings
• Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations
• Advanced training or certifications in gastroenterology procedures

Preferred Education and Experience

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of gastroenterology practice experience post-residency
• Current medical license and DEA certification
• Successful completion of credentialing within approximately three months

Other Requirements

• Availability to start on or around May 4, 2026
• Commitment to a 12-month assignment with potential for permanent placement
• Willingness to work scheduled clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with shared call responsibilities
• Participation in a supportive, team-oriented environment with APP support
• Capacity to handle a patient population characterized by non-compliance and complex medical needs
• Must possess or obtain all necessary licensure, certifications, and travel/reimbursements as applicable
