Gastroenterology Physician

Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- State medical license and board certification in Gastroenterology
- Proven expertise in performing and interpreting upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, ERCP procedures
- Strong clinical skills with ability to manage complex and non-compliant patient populations
- Superior communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with EMR systems (TBD)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures and moderate complexity ERCP
- Prior experience in a similar clinical setting
- Comfortable with flexible scheduling and call responsibilities
- Bilingual abilities to enhance patient engagement
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree with fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting
- Prior procedural experience with a high volume of cases
Other Requirements:
- Credentialing and license enrollment estimated at approximately 3 months
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Shared call responsibilities, with details to be confirmed
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Willingness to support a multidisciplinary team, including APPs and ancillary staff
- Flexibility regarding on-site or off-site call duties
