Job Description

About this role: 

As a Palliative Medicine Physician you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated RN, LCSW, and Chaplain.  

  • You will practice at Logan Regional Hospital where you will play a critical role in building a new palliative care service 

  • Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, no call  

  • Make a significant and powerful impact on people and their families during times of need

What you’ll bring: 

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine 

  • Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine 

  • Board certification or eligibility in Palliative Medicine 

  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one 

  • Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one 

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process 

  • Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
