Join Indiana University Department of Emergency Medicine and IU Health System as an Emergency Medicine Physician and Medical Director at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana- a rapidly growing suburban community on Indy's west side. As one of 3 community hospitals within the IU Health Indy Metro Region (IMR), IU West offers a balanced mix of high- acuity community experience with academic and educational crossover in the form of resident and medical student rotators. 

This leadership position is unique in its commitment to not only the advancement of clinical operations, quality and continuous improvement in the IU West ED, but also the advancement of the greater tripartite mission of the Department of Emergency Medicine. 

Ideal candidates are those who are self- motivated and thrive in a mission - driven team environment, able to leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective and innovative care delivery to the communities we serve. 

Position Details: 

• Full-Time clinical with some academic responsibilities
• Quarterly scheduling offering more flexibility
• Outstanding clinical opportunity with an academic system and affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine
• Dually employed with the IU School of Medicine and IU Health Medical Group

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be BC or BE in Emergency Medicine 
• Strong interpersonal skills preferred
• Preferred at least 1 year of leadership experience within clinical affairs
