South Florida Baptist Hospital (SFBH), a 146-bed hospital located in the growing community of Plant City, Florida is seeking two dynamic Gastroenterologists to enhance and expand GI services.    

Some highlights of this exciting opportunity include:

  • These are new positions to help meet the overwhelming need in the Plant City and surrounding communities. 
  • South Florida Baptist Hospital is a brand-new replacement hospital that opened in the Spring of 2024.  
  • The hospital includes three endoscopy suites with ample scheduling available, in addition to a full complement of scopes, and experienced endoscopy staff.  
  • ER call responsibilities will be 1:3, shared with community Gastroenterologists. The ER at South Florida Baptist Hospital is on schedule for 38,000 visits annually.  
  • One single Hospitalist group onsite.
  • The office is attached to the hospital, in a multi-specialty medical office suite.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology.
  • Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
