Saint Joseph Emergency Department in Denver is seeking a Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician to join a respected, physician-led team. This modern, community-based facility offers in-house lab and advanced imaging (CT, X-ray, Ultrasound) to support efficient, high-quality care.

Facility & Coverage Details

• EMR: Epic
• Approximately 117 ED patients per 24 hours
• 24-hour physician coverage
• Nocturnist shift: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (9-hour shifts)
• 58 licensed hospital beds
• 10 Fast Track beds
• Residents in the ED
• APP coverage overlaps into the evening until 1 AM
• Hospitalists manage admissions
• Onsite lab and radiology services available
• Low transfer rate (~2%)
• Physician-led, collaborative environment

Physician Requirements

• ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible
• ATLS required
