Position Overview

Advanced Urology Institute is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Ocala, FL. In this role, you will provide expert diagnostic imaging interpretation and perform a full range of image-guided interventional procedures that support the broad spectrum of urologic care offered by our practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role within a growing urology service line and collaborate with urologists, oncologists, and other medical professionals in a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret a variety of imaging studies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine as it pertains to urologic and related conditions.

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization, nephrostomy tube placements, and other image-guided therapies.

  • Consult with referring physicians to recommend appropriate imaging and procedural plans.

  • Participate in clinical decision-making, patient education, and communication of imaging findings.

  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, radiation safety, and imaging Protocols.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.

  • Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida.

  • Strong technical proficiency in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
