Carle Health at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, a 200-bed, not-for-profit regional hospital and Level II Trauma Center in Normal, Illinois, is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join its established team. This opening is due to physician relocation and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with access to a broad range of specialty support.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, hospital-employed role with 12-hour shifts (6 AM–6 PM, 10 AM–10 PM, 6 PM–6 AM)

• Join a team of 10 emergency physicians and 5 advanced practice providers

• Annual ED volume of approximately 30,000 patient visits

• EPIC electronic medical record system

• Collaborative access to specialties including cardiology, pulmonology, orthopedics, neurology, CV surgery, gastroenterology, trauma, neurosurgery, and more

• Hospitalists and APPs round on admitted patients

• Opportunities to participate in committees and multidisciplinary initiatives

Candidate Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BE within 5 years accepted)

• Emergency Medicine training required (no subspecialties)

• Illinois medical license or eligibility required

• Clinical focus only; no leadership or faculty duties
