Emergency Medicine Physician - Level 1 Trauma

The Department of Emergency Medicine at UCSF Fresno in conjunction with Inspire Health Medical Group is seeking additional core, full time faculty members. Responsibilities will include patient care at Community Regional Medical Center’s emergency department and teaching and supervising medical students, residents, fellows, and physician assistants.

The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the HS Clinical or Clinical X series depending on quali?cations and interests.

Our emergency medicine residency program was founded in 1974, with 46 EM residents in a PGY1-4 format and supported by UCSF and Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno, California. CRMC has 630 beds, exceeded 120,000 ED visits last year, while being amongst the busiest Level One Trauma Centers in California. We serve as the Base Station for a four-county EMS System and provide medical direction to the National Parks Service.

Our faculty group consists of 50 full-time residency trained board certi?ed emergency physicians, many with additional fellowship training. We seek quali?ed board certi?ed (or board eligible in the process of obtaining board certi?cation) candidates in Emergency Medicine. Subspecialty expertise is preferred. Candidates must also have an active California medical license or in process of obtaining eligibility to apply for one.

Applicant materials must list current and/or pending quali?cations upon submission. Applicant must have all quali?cations met by time of hire. Depending on quali?cations, leadership positions exist within the spheres of Ultrasound, EMS, Toxicology, Administration, Research and Pediatrics.
