Skagit Regional Health is seeking an experienced part time Certified Nurse Midwife to join and contribute to the growth of our Midwifery program in Mount Vernon, Washington. Highlights:

  • Join a growing and collaborative clinic that currently consists of four (4) CNMs and two (2) WHNPs.
  • Our seven (7) employed OBGYN providers, conveniently located adjacent to the Midwifery clinic, are available for support and consultation in clinic.
  • 1:4 call shared equally among the group.
  • Engage in a full-spectrum role, providing care to both OB and GYN patients in the clinic and performing deliveries at Skagit Valley Hospital conveniently situated across from the clinic.
  • Our newly renovated Family Birth Center boasts 21 LDRP rooms and 2 ORs on the unit with dedicated Anesthesia support. Additionally, our Level II Special Care Nursery is supported by onsite Pediatric Hospitalists.
  • Benefit from the assurance of having onsite OB Hospitalists available 24/7 to provide support whenever required.
  • This is a 0.5 FTE position, working 8-10 shifts a month.
  • This is a hospital-employed position with access to a large, existing in house primary and specialty care referral base.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available!

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Midwifery program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME). Board certification required.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before starting.
  • 2-3 years of recent full scope midwifery experience is required.
  • Current AHA NRP and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification is required before starting.
  • First assist experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $71,368 - $79,893 DOE
  • Employment bonus, relocation reimbursement & CME allowance.
