TeamHealth has a great telemedicine hospitalist opportunity for a full-time, board-certified internal medicine or family medicine physician with a minimum of 4 years of hospital medicine experience and a North Carolina medical license to provide remote nocturnist coverage within the Mission System community hospitals in Western North Carolina. Hours are 7p-7a and responsibilities include:

• Performing patient exams virtually with onsite nursing staff
• Entering admission orders
• Prescribing medications
• Documentation of patient diagnosis, treatment plan, etc. using the hospital's EMR
• Communicating with patients, nursing staff and consulting with ED physicians on site
