The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System consists of a Joint Commission accredited complexity level 2 medical center and five Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) that serve Veterans in eastern South Dakota, northwestern Iowa, and southwestern Minnesota.
The medical center has 40 acute beds and 58 transitional care beds and is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with CBOCs in Aberdeen, Wagner, and Watertown, South Dakota as well as Sioux City and Spirit Lake, Iowa.
The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System is part of the VA Midwest Health Care Network (Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23), which is comprised of North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota, as well as Community Clinics in Wyoming, Wisconsin and Illinois.
