Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with current medical license in Texas
• Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields
• Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to independently perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
• Knowledge of medical documentation protocols and report submission procedures

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working with Veterans or within government healthcare programs
• Familiarity with Compensation & Pension examination standards
• Certifications in relevant medical areas or advanced training in disability evaluations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in relevant specialties
• Prior experience in clearance or assessment roles for government or military healthcare is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Must hold an active Texas medical license
• Ability to travel to designated facilities within Houston or perform exams in own office within 50 miles of Houston
• Willingness to complete necessary credentialing and onboarding processes
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards and timely report submissions
