The UTMB Department of Pediatrics is a tertiary referral center for Southeast Texas and beyond, invites applications for the position of Developmental - Behavioral Pediatrician - Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The Division of Development/ Behavior currently includes four faculty physicians, seven mental health nurse practitioners trained in medical management of neurodevelopmental and behavioral health problems, five psychologists trained in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders, and three psychotherapists licensed to treat children and adolescents with cognitive behavioral therapies. The successful applicant for this position will be co-located within this diverse, talented group of clinicians. Additionally, this position will involve teaching pediatric residents and medical students. Candidate Requirements:

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics.
• A strong commitment to patient care with demonstrated ability to mentor and teach medical students, residents and fellows. 
• U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted state of Texas Medical License.

Income Package: Salary will be commensurate with Academic rank, qualifications, experience, and educational background.  In addition, UTMB offers a superior benefits package, an excellent retirement program, a relocation allowance as well as many other potential incentives.
