Highlights
  • Part-time (20 hours/week) Hospice Physician
  • As a Physician in this role, you will be as a hospice team physician, managing 2 hospice teams.
  • You will provide leadership, clinical oversight and medical guidance for hospice staff
  • Collaborate with on-site team and review appropriate goals of care
  • Manage the ongoing care of patients, and monitor progress
  • Provide collaborative guidance with symptom management, medication stewardship, and controlled substance monitoring
  • You will work collaboratively with experienced, compassionate staff, and a team of nurses and specialists at each location
  • EPIC EMR
  • Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
  • Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
  • Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
 
Training and/or Experience Required
  • Completion of an accredited Residency Program
  • Completion of an accredited HPM fellowship is preferred, not required
  • If not fellowship trained, hospice or palliative experience is required
  • Compassionate physician with a strong understanding of the hospice philosophy of care and expertise in hospice medical management
