Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Valid state medical license; IMLC or temporary licenses accepted.
• Active DEA certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of OB-GYN practice experience.
• Strong skills in labor and delivery, including comprehensive delivery procedures.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and manage a varied call schedule.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care coordination.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or advanced obstetric procedures.
• Prior experience in Level IV trauma or similar high-acuity settings.
• Familiarity with Paragon EMR system.
• Experience in supervising or training nursing staff.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Proven track record in obstetrics and gynecology practice, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in hospital-based settings.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work night shifts on a 24-hour call basis.
• Must complete credentialing within approximately 60 days.
• Ability to obtain necessary state licensure and hospital privileges.
• Travel and certification reimbursements when applicable.
