PeaceHealth is seeking an outstanding Psychiatrist to join our collegial team in Longview. This position is primarily outpatient, with some inpatient responsibilities 1 week in every 4. Longview, Washington is perfectly nestled in between Portland and Seattle. Why you’ll love the Practice: 

• Integrated physician-led medical group.
• Team of 4 psychiatrists, 4 Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nurses and ancillary staff.
• 3 weeks out of 4: Work a busy 4 days in an outpatient clinic setting with a multi-disciplinary team
• 1 week out of 4: Provide inpatient and consult services at the hospital in the morning and work at the outpatient clinic in the afternoon.
• Outpatient services are provided on a separate behavioral health campus 1 miles from the hospital
• There is an opportunity to provide integrated behavioral health care following the AIMS model
• At the hospital, treat both voluntary and involuntary patients ages 18 and over with acute psychiatric and behavioral disturbances requiring the safety of a locked 22 bed unit, and consultation and liaison services throughout the hospital

Also provided:

• Opioid detoxification and treatment through a buprenorphine (suboxone) program
• Esketamine treatments
• Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)
• Call is one weeknight per week, and one weekend per month.
