Position Overview

As a Family Medicine Physician, you will:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan in an outpatient setting
  • Provide treatment, prescribe medications, and refer or admit patients as clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, and strategic planning efforts
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation aligned with regulatory and quality standards

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with MDH administration and medical staff leadership.

Physical requirements include a combination of standing (40%), walking (30%), and sitting (30%). Physicians should be prepared for long shifts and occasional high-acuity or emotionally charged patient encounters.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Eligible for and able to maintain unrestricted Illinois medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
