Full-Spectrum Family Medicine Physician – Midwest Community Hospital

McDonough District Hospital (MDH) is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our established outpatient clinic in Macomb, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive community hospital where physicians are valued members of the care team and have a meaningful voice in shaping patient care.

Our clinic is part of a 48-bed community hospital offering a broad range of advanced medical services while maintaining a personalized, patient-centered approach to care.

Practice Highlights

  • Outpatient clinic Monday–Friday
  • 36 patient contact hours per week with ½ day administrative time
  • Flexible schedule options: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Work alongside 2 physicians and 4 nurse practitioners
  • Approximately 16–18 patients per day
  • Fully staffed clinic with care management team and onsite pharmacy
  • Opportunity to perform minor in office procedures

Call

  • 1:7 shared call rotation
  • Approximately 4–5 days per month
  •  Nurse triage call system

Compensation & Incentives

  • Base salary: $250,000 – $350,000
  • $150,000 student loan repayment
  • $50,000 sign-on bonus
  • RVU bonus opportunities

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
  • Current DEA registration
