Family Medicine OB Opportunity In Eastern North Carolina

ECU Health Physicians is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join a Women’s Care practice located in eastern North Carolina. The successful applicant will be expected to gain surgical skills during their employment. Specifically, during years two and three they will obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform cesarean deliveries independently. This will involve approximately two hours per week (< 5% of their weekly workload) leading to the completion of an unaccredited OB fellowship at the end of three years. Experienced applicants are preferred. New graduates will be considered.  

ECU Health Physicians provides comprehensive health care for women of all ages and stages at 10 outpatient clinics and 8 hospitals across eight eastern North Carolina communities.

• The successful candidate will provide full-time primary care (> 40 hours/week) to include the full spectrum of women’s health care, to include obstetrics, family planning and prenatal and perinatal care, to a diverse patient population.

This position is full-time (> 40 hours per week), reduced or part-time is not an option. During inpatient in years two and three, the successful applicant can expect to work 70+ hours per week.
