Primary Care Physician Reviewer

Maximus Federal is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our Medical Consultant panel as an Expert Medical Reviewer to conduct medical judgment appeals.

Role Overview:

• Conduct peer reviews to determine whether clinical decisions during specific encounters meet the standard of care.
• Support quality management initiatives to improve healthcare delivery in VA medical facilities.

Compensation: $150 – $500 per case

Requirements:

• Board-certified Internal Medicine with 5+ years of experience
• Actively providing direct patient care 20+ hours/month
• Willingness to work as a 1099 at-will contractor

Work Arrangement: Flexible REMOTE
