Required Skills

• Valid and active California medical license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Emergency Medicine.
• ABEM or ABEOM certification (ABIM/ABFM not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital clinical experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Ability to efficiently manage an average of 110 patients per 24-hour shift.
• Clear documentation of current case logs for surgical specialties.
• Ability to explain any gaps in employment greater than 3 months.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working in diverse hospital settings.
• Additional certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with telemedicine platforms.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Medical degree (MD or DO).
• Proven track record in emergency medicine within a hospital setting.
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical practice preferred.

Other Requirements

• Must be willing to work night shifts; daytime-only providers are not eligible for this assignment.
• Highly reliable and committed to providing quality patient care.
• Availability for scheduled guaranteed hours, with pre-approval required for overtime.
• No reimbursement for travel from home to airports or airport rideshare; reimbursements include airport parking, approved rental vehicle insurance, and ground transportation upon arrival and departure.
• Pending shifts may be available; flexibility is advantageous.
